On the evening of April 2nd, 1987 I was born in Panorama City, California. Growing up I had a typical life of boy scouts and playing tee ball to baseball. Back when I was only 2-3 years old I built up my own go kart, but I was't into racing much back then. It wasn't until I was 10 years old that I became a NASCAR fan and once I sat in a racecar I wanted to experience being in one going around a track. For a few years I raced on the computer with a steering wheel and different games such as NASCAR Racing 3, to NR2003. I was mainly into bicycles back then, which I went through several bikes growing up; since I rode them around so much.
Racing online with simulator games I have learned several aspects of setting up and driving a racecar. With several qualifying poles and wins I had made a name for myself back on older games. Now with so many racers on the newer games I am around the better group. Through a few NR2003 leagues such as AR1 Racing, and TVROnline.com I have, or am still in the battle for championships.
On my free time I am into going out in wildlife and doing photography. Several of my photos shown on picture.com have been published in a few books. Also biking is my main form of exercise, besides trying to become stronger with weights. This year I biked the 25 miles courses of the LA Bike Tour, an event companion of the Los Angeles Marathon. In the future I am looking into doing several more events like this, and sometime possibly running them, or at least running shorter events while biking longer.
During my younger years I went through cub scouts for several years, but never went to the top boy scout ranks. During those years of course one of my favorite events was the Pinewood Derby, which one year I won 3rd place for Originality. Also throughout those years I have learned a lot about things from wildlife to craftsmanship.
Lately I have been very busy with my schoolwork, doing a partial home study program called Options for Youth. Next year I might be going back to school as long as I can continue with a racing program if I find sponsors. For around two years I have been searching as hard as I can to find sponsors so I can truly begin my racing career. Unfortunately I have't grown up in a wealthier family so I haven't raced in any sanctioned events, which makes me want to advance into late models since I am now 17 years old, but I will take just about any ride to start with. In racing schools I have driven mini stocks, sprint karts, and Late Models. Hopefully some companies will have an interest in sponsoring my racing efforts soon. In August of 2004 I started donating to a charity for the first time - Feed The Children. Now I am racing with their logos on my sim racing program. After completing the Los Angeles Bike Tour earlier this year, it has inspired me again to train for the 2005 LA Marathon. Through the next six months I will be training with a nearby middle school that has the Students Run Los Angeles program.. 4 years with another school had a major muscle injury which stopped me and I made a big mistake in giving up completly. I have learned since then to never give up on any life goals, but keep a second option for everything in life. If I don't get racing next season then I will possibly be moving to Oklahoma, and look forward to family support for racing at Outlaw Speedway.
